The School of Finance of Shanghai Lixin University of Accounting and Finance hasahistory of over70 years old. It is the second biggest school of the university,andhas over 130 faculty members, includingabout100teachers, with 55% holding senior professional titles, and more than 80% of the teachers are PhDs. It is known as the "cradle of future financiers in China". Since it is located in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, adjacent to theLujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, the Financial Centre of Shanghai,it is closely connected with various financial institutions in Shanghai. The major of Finance and International Finance are both one of the earliest financial majors created in China.

It has 4 undergraduate majors: Finance, Credit Management, Financial Engineering and Investment.In 2019 and 2020, the majors of finance and financial engineering have been approved as national first-class undergraduate majors. Italsohas 5 departments: Finance, International Finance, Financial Engineering, Credit Management andInvestment,3 National First-class Courses,2 Shanghai Municipal Level Excellent Teaching Team,2 Shanghai Municipal Course Ideological and Political Demonstration Team. The Modern Financial Experimental Teaching Center has been approved as a municipal level experimental teaching base in Shanghai. And it has a New Financial Smart Learning Workshop and a Finance Professional Virtual Teaching and Research Office approved by the Ministry of Education in China. In 2021, the Shanghai Yangtze River Delta Science and Technology Innovation Industry Financial Service Collaborative Innovation Center was approved as one of Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Centers; Pudong New Area Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base has also been approved.

The School of Finance adheres to the characteristics of "integration of industry and education" and "equal emphasis on learning and experience" in talent cultivation, and pays much attention to the reform of talent cultivation mode driven by information technology. It signed industry university research cooperation agreements with over 40 financial institutions and enterprises, including Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the Agricultural Bank of China, China Construction Bank and Guoyuan Securities, etc. And it also jointly built the "Pujiang Class" of Pujiang School with Agricultural Bank of China Shanghai Branch. The "Lixin Securities Investment Education Base" has been approved as a provincial-level investor education base.

The School of Finance focuses on cultivating students' "integrity quality, practical ability, innovation awareness, and international vision", and has launched and hosted the Shanghai Undergraduate Financial Planning Contest over the years. Students have won many national-level andMunicipal Level prizes in Challenge Cup, etc.

The School of Finance actively engages in international cooperation and has established cooperative and exchange relationships with well-known universities such as Cornell University and the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. We Signed bachelor's and master's degree cooperation agreements with multiple overseas universities, such as NEOMA Business School in France, UCR and the University of Dayton in USA, the Hungarian Sports University, and Curtin University in Australia.
